COMMENTS - With the loss of my best friend this year, I decided to put up a tribute, memorial web site in his honor. Here you will see his life in pictures and hear some of his excellent guitar playing. We grew up together, played music together, and had some really great times together. I hope you get as much out of this site as I did building it.
I miss him and I will always remember him.

COMMENTS - Bruce was my friend,...my brother in-law, me bud, I will miss the 180 degree wit on life and the harshness of the delivery...no one could hold a candle to him...his music was, I believe, his way of avoiding the mundane.
He was a warrior from the north and his guitar was his axe.

COMMENTS - I will always remember standing at The Pastime and watching Bruce jam on his purple Gibson. The floors would romp up and down and it seemed like it would never end. But, as sad as it is all "Good Things" do come to an end, Life can suck that way. He inspired me and helped me continue in the music field. I will always and forever remember him for that.
Thanks Bruce...You are missed.

COMMENTS - What a great tribute site! The Band upstairs (or maybe it's really a little to the left...) is getting bigger every year it seems. "those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end, we'd sing and dance forever and a day...." That's what it seemed like when we were rockin at The Pastime eh? The Rock and Roll Showboat too....damn, we sure knew how to do it up right......the circle will be unbroken someday. In the mean time, no one parties better than us when we put our hearts in it, as was evident at the Benifit!! It was great to see all the faces from the past. Thanks for the memories.

COMMENTS - My Memories of Bruce Peterson "The Swede"

The floor a bouncing at the Pastime,
Strap those speakers down Bert.

Being unplugged at 3AM at the Lakeview,
Jam all morning Bruce.

All of the outdoor parties,
Barefoot in the grass is the way to Creek dance.

Drinking shots under the willows before your wedding,
You and Diane had a great life together.

Playing on the roof at JCC
You were really playing high that gig.

The road trip to Columbus Ga.,
An Army base is no place for Logans Creek to play.

Hanging over the paddle wheel on the Belle,
On Chautauqua Lake is the place for Logans Creek to play.

Driving the Duck Truck to Ellicottville,
River full of whiskey, I'm a Diving Duck

Cruel Shoes,
The best recording you ever made.

The Home Wreckers at the Blue Heron,
Wow, what a show.

Calling me Leeeester

THANKS FOR ROCKING OUR SOCKS OFF!!!!!!

COMMENTS - ROCKIN'RICK AND I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE FIRST HAND HOW THIS SIGHT WAS BUILT. SOME MAY CALL IT HARD WORK OR DEDICATION. LONG HOURS IN FRONT OF A COMPUTER-YEAH THAT ALL APPLIES, BUT LOVE IS HOW THIS SIGHT WAS BUILT(AND GROWS EVERYDAY) AND LOVE WILL KEEP IT GOING. WE SAT WITH PETE AND LESLIE LAST NIGHT AND ROCKIN' AND PETE "REMEMBERED WHEN", HAD A TOAST (OKAY, A TOAST OR TWO)TO BRUCE-WE LAUGHED AND CRIED. IT'S SHARING MEMORIES THAT WILL KEEP HIM ALIVE AND IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER. PETE AND LESLIE: TAKE YOUR TIME WITH OUR PHOTO BOOKS. THERE ARE 15 YEARS OF MEMORIES THAT WE ARE GLAD TO SHARE WITH EVERYBODY.
HERE'S TO THE BIG KAHUNA, WE MISS YOU!! XOXOXO

COMMENTS - I NEVER MET BRUCE, I'M JUST A FRIEND OF A FRIEND. "LIL' LISA" SPEAKS VERY HIGHLY OF BRUCE. I KNOW HE MUST HAVE BEEN A PHENOMINAL PERSON. I FEEL FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO KNEW HIM AND MISS HIM. ENJOY AND TREASURE THE REST OF YOUR LIVES; I'M SURE YOUR FRIEND BRUCE WOULD WANT IT THAT WAY.

COMMENTS - As this day of Thanksgiving arrives, I find myself thinking of Bruce and more importantly his family. Just knowing how I miss him, I can only imagine what they are going through at this holiday season. So I send them my best and hope that their memories of years past will help them to keep Bruce with them in spirit.
We never forget the ones we love...ever.

COMMENTS - Thanks for;
The saying, "Yut ta hey", still to this day
not quite sure if it is an actual indian
greeting or not...heh,heh.

"Lord help me, but I do love it so" often
used in the middle of tying one on,..or
the observance of a gorgeous creature
passing by...

Lest not we forget the disertations on the
"evils of bourbon whiskey"....

Everything you wanted to know about Keith
Richards, but was afraid to ask.... ;.)

I realize you all have fond memories, and
this list could go on forever,...my intention
here was hopefully to put a smile on
some of our faces, and a little warmth in
our hearts,.....tis the season, as I think
this season will endear itself to us more
than any other,...let's keep Bruce & his
family in our hearts and prayers, and treasure
most our own that are still here
today..like none other.....now you'll have
to "excuse me whilst I touch myself"..
(had to save the best one for last)...
love ya baby............
